  • The VIM trip will be traveling to Swansboro N.C., the week of May 6-10. Rebuilding Mission Ministry (RMM) is seeking volunteers to join the VIM team to assist with recovery efforts in Swansboro from Hurricane Florence. We will be working with UMVIM North Carolina Disaster and Recovery Assistance. No prior experience or special skills required.

  • Herndon UMC is one of the local congregations which support The Closet, a non-profit thrift shop in downtown Herndon. Through the sales in the thrift shop, The Closet gives back to the local community through grants to its member congregations and to local non-profit organizations such as LINK, Cornerstones, Herndon-Reston FISH, and Helping

  • Neighbors in Need will once again be providing meals for the Fairfax County North County Emergency Hypothermia Shelter in Reston. As you know weather in this area can be very difficult to forecast. So far we are below average temperatures and much snow is predicted to come.
