A young child develops in many ways, including physically, socially, cognitively, emotionally and spiritually. At HUMC Preschool, the goal is to provide a warm, nurturing, secure environment, giving each child the room, guidance and encouragement to develop confidence through active participation in carefully designed learning activities. There will be opportunities to play and learn; to be curious creatively; and to feel success through achievement in a community of faith, hope, and love. Follow this link to the HUMC Preschool website where you can learn more about the school curriculum, registration and school year.
The school is an outreach of the Herndon UMC. We welcome (toilet trained) children 2 1/2 to 5 years old without regard to race, color, creed, or religion. The school year runs from September through May, with class options ranging from 2 to 5 days per week depending on the age of the child. Learn more here, call to arrange a visit, or look us up on Facebook.
Herndon UMC's Preschool will be holding the annual Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 12 from 9:30-10:15 AM.
All Current and Former Members of the U.S. Armed forces are Cordially Invited to a Celebration in their Honor. The Children of HUMC preschool have prepared a special presentation. By attending our celebration, you not only allow our children to express their appreciation but you teach the next generation of Americans what the face of freedom looks like.
Please share this invitation with any Veteran you may know.
