Coaches

There are orientation trainings which you will be required to attend. Overall expectations:

To be enthused and positive about the program.
Promote a balance of skill building and Christian character.
Run drills for practices.
Coach the kids and maintain order in amount of time each child plays.
Set tone for the game.
Present star awards following each game affirming each child for various improvements.
Oversee the devotional with the team immediately before or after the practice on Thursday evenings. Communicate changes to schedule or cancellations to the parents in a timely manner.
Communicate concerns or issues with parents or children to the Upward Basketball League Director.
